Claudio Fernandez

Claudio Fernandez, 55, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed on October 15, 2024, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Born on December 21, 1968, in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Claudio lived a life with love and devotion to his family and friends.

Claudio is remembered for his wonderful spirit and the cherished moments he shared with those closest to him. Claudio was a devoted husband to Veronica Vanessa Fernandez, with whom he shared 24 years of a beautiful life filled with love and partnership. As a father, he found great joy in raising his children: Arielle, Alejandro, and Paola Fernandez. Each of them carries forward the values of kindness and compassion that he instilled in them.

Claudio also embraced his role as a grandfather, finding immense happiness in the company of his granddaughter, Jyn Figueroa. The bonds he nurtured with his family were a cornerstone of his life, and he prioritized spending quality time with them, creating lifelong memories that will be treasured by all.

He touched countless lives with his generosity, always putting others before himself.  His selfless actions and compassion will forever be remembered.

He is survived by his loving wife, children, and mother, Rosa Fernandez, who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his father, Fernando Fernandez.

In honoring Claudio's memory, a Memorial Gathering and Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Hardin Funeral Home located at 4316 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX. The gathering will take place from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the service commencing at 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to share their fondest memories of Claudio and celebrate his remarkable life.

Claudio Fernandez will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the love he spread and the lives he touched.
